No rest for a great Dad

I loved this picture. Dave got home from another long day at work and here he is sharing his dinner with son. What a great dad!!!!!!!!

High School Musical

I don't know if I should admit this but we took Parker to High School Musical on Saturday. Parker loves High School Musical. He perfers to only wear Boat shoes and calls them his Troy Boltons. I have to say that it wasn't that great. I love the first 2 but this one was a little too cheesy for me. But hey Parker loved it so I guess that is what matters. Dave and I got a lot of funny looks talking a 3 year old boy to see this movie, since the theater was filled with girls. I think Dave should get Dad of the year for going to see this with his son.

Fall Fun

It has been such a fun fall. I love this time of year. I actually even still like football in the fall. By the time the Superbowl is here I hate football. We took the kids to the scarecrow festival at Thanksgiving point which was so crowded I don't know if we will do it again. but they did have fun. Jack loves all of the farm animals and loves to stick his entire hand in their cages which I was a little nervous of. We went up to Snowbird with some of Dave's brothers families and rode the tram. It was so beautiful, and there was some snow which was so exciting for Dave. After Snowbird we went to 5 guys burgers and fries which I highly recommend. It is in Sandy and it was by far the best Hamburger I have ever had, and I am not a big hamburger fan. Parker's preschool went to the pumpkin patch so we tagged along with that and once again Jack had his hands in trying to grab the goats. Our Ward Halloween Party was last night and it was a lot of fun. Both of my boys Halloween costume ended up being too small so they both have floods on, but hey at least they are happy right. We took family pictures just last week which is always so much stress and I haven't seen if they turned out yet. We had so much fun at our friend Jamie's annual Halloween Party. We inherited from the white elephant game a new pet named Chester which is a stuffed female pheasant(sp?), that Dave had duct taped the tail back on and has made a Ninja headband for. Our boys love it. Parker is constantly playing with and taking care of our stuffed bird Chester. We are excited for Halloween and for the holidays.

Curtis and Jessyca's wedding

We had such a blast this weekend in Wyoming for Curtis and Jessyca's wedding. There was horses and cows everywhere which Jack was fascinated with. They had this river walk that we went on and the boys just loved throwing rocks in the water and crossing the bridge. For me it was a a great weekend because Parker was so well behaved. I hope this means a breakthrough. He played so well with the kids and we only had a few minor battles with other kids. We went swimming in the hotel pool, and Jack was running and jumping into the water to Dave while Parker was hanging on to me for dear life. That shows the differences in our boys. Jack is fearless and Parker is scared of everything. The wedding was so nice. We are so happy Curt found Jessyca and are excited she is our new sister in law. She looked beautiful. Dave even danced with me at the wedding which I loved. It is not something he really likes to do but he did it for me. Thanks you Babe.

Summer Time

I haven't blogged in a long time mainly because Jack poured water all over my new camera and it no longer works. This summer was a crazy one. I have to say I am ready for fall. The highlight of my month was I went to girls camp and it was a blast. I love my calling in Young Women's. Our girls are awesome. I was in charge of our lip sync which is not really my strongest talent but the girls helped me out and it turned out to be a lot of fun. Dave and I also went to Park City for the weekend for my birthday. We went to an outdoor concert up there which was fun to just be outside in the mountains with my husband. We went to 2 awesome weddings this month. My favorite cousin Kyle and our good friend Joel. They both found awesome girls and we are so excited for them. Parker went to a summer Preschool Camp and he absolutely loved it, which was a relief to me because we tried Karate and Swim lessons this summer and he wouldn't leave my side to go even try it. After the summer camp he officially started Preschool with his cousin Lexi last week and they both are having tons of fun. Jack is at such a fun stage right now. He loves any kind of ball. He will kick it all over the yard and shoot baskets. Dave loves it. Dave also plays lots of baseball with Parker which is fun for me to watch. We also had a small Kocherhans reunion this month which was fun because a lot of the cousins I am close to were in town. We rented the Pleasant Grove pool and had a big breakfast afterwards. I know Dave gets overwhelmed at these events since my mom has 11 kids in her family and I have 76 cousins but as for me I absolutly love the cios.
